We spent two amazing nights in each of these Lodges.

Ebony Lodge in the Sabi Sand private game preserve is directly west of Kruger National Park. It  is not fenced off from Kruger and animals migrate from one park to the other. This was our favorite lodge by far. Monkeys dancing on the deck greeted us when we checked into our suite.

Lebombo Lodge is in the far northeast corner of both Kruger National Park & South Africa (on the Mozambique border). This lodge is touted as far more modern than the others. Had we gone here first it would have been spectacular. It is pretty cool, but we were already spoiled by Ebony.

Boulders Lodge is right near Ebony in the Sabi Sand game preserve. Our lodge here was fantastic, the spa was wonderful and the staff was nothing short of amazing. We saw a hippopotamus walking by one night on our way to dinner.
